Privacy and Consent

It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It carries no advertising and no profiling. Visits are counted in aggregate only, through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which shows how many people opened which pages, from which country and browser, and how quickly pages load. That service uses no cookies, does not fingerprint you, does not follow you to other sites and is not linked to your name. The site collects nothing else about you. Personal data is collected in only two places, both by your choice: when you send your CV, described in the card below, and when you take part in the AASSREC research survey, which is anonymous, hosted on Google Forms and run under ethics approval CUI/MS/LHR/DREC/2026/04.

The typefaces are served from this site, not from Google, so no request leaves here for a font. Two things do reach YouTube, and both are said here rather than buried: the small preview pictures on the video tiles, and the videos themselves, which load only when you press play, through YouTube's no-cookie domain, so nothing from YouTube runs until you choose it.

• What we collect. Only what is needed to match you to a role: name, contact details, city, how you would like to take part, your skills and hours, and the CV you send. Never an identity number, a date of birth or a home address.
• Why. To consider you and to write back. Nothing else.
• Your consent. A tick box in the form, and your yes to being named on this site is a separate question you can decline.
• Who sees it. The founder and the team leads he names. It is never sold, never shared outside CSIC, and never published without your yes.
• Where it is kept. In Google Forms, Sheets and Drive under the founder's account, and in the Centre's mailbox if you email it. Google processes it under its own terms, and uploading a file means signing in to Google.
• How long. While you are involved, reviewed once a year, and removed the same day you ask.
• Under 18. A parent or guardian must agree first.
• Your rights. To see it, correct it or have it removed: write to [email protected] with the subject Remove me.

• The ambassadors' portraits are cropped from the welcome cards each of them was given when they joined, and which were published at the time.
• The founding team's photographs are from the project's own December 2024 profile.
• The collaborators' portraits are from material they appeared in themselves.
• Every crop deliberately removes the QR codes and the mobile number printed on those cards.
• The certificate shown is a real one with the recipient's name blurred out.

• No mobile number, his own included.
• No data from any research participant, ever. The studies are anonymous and stay that way.
• No home addresses, no dates of birth, no identity numbers.
• No photographs of children, and none from any school visit.
• Nothing from internal correspondence, proposals or university files.

You do not have to give a reason and you will not be asked for one. Write one line to [email protected] with the subject Remove me, saying which picture or name is yours.

It comes down the same day it is read, and it is not put back. The same applies if you would rather your name appeared differently, or your role was described another way.
